About Chappy
Steve "Chappy" Hudson calls Charlotte, North Carolina, home so that's where you'll find him when he's not traveling the country to and from races.
Over the last 10 years, he has been Race Chaplain at the Motocross and Supercross Nationals held all across the country. He holds prayer meetings/chapel services at all the races during the Rider's Meetings and at various other times. He offers inspirational advice and fellowship through personal relationships which he develops through being all over the place at races - you might find him anywhere from one of the Pro's trailers during the day or out on the track during a race to the celebrations after a race. He also performs the wedding ceremonies for lots of people in the MX world, so at some point during race weekends he will usually be doing some marriage counseling off in a quiet place.
Steve has recently joined forces with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The association between FCA and his SXMX Ministry will enable him to broaden his ministry and provide follow-through opportunities to local race attendees through the broad FCA network. |
